An AI based student management system demonstrates a principle that matters in education technology: AI is most useful when it helps people ask better questions of trustworthy data.
Built with Flask and Bootstrap 5, the system brings together student profiles, courses, enrolments, dashboards, authentication and role based access. An OpenAI powered reporting feature turns plain English questions into written insights, charts and downloadable reports.
The reporting design sends aggregate figures to the AI rather than individual student records. This makes insights easier to access while limiting exposure of personal information. For education leaders, the opportunity lies in combining accessible analytics with data quality, clear permissions and human review.
